Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Education Mental Health Practitioner to lead and support MHST projects across schools, delivering early intervention and maintaining a clinical caseload for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs.

You will collaborate with education settings, families, and stakeholders to co-produce initiatives, while shaping services and supporting staff.

Qualifications

• Education Mental Health Practitioner with post‑qualification experience.
• Experience of multi-agency work, in particular in schools.
• Ability to work flexibly with regard to location and hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group work with children, young people and families.
• Develop SEN offers to support access to MHST services.
• Provide supervision and support to education staff and junior team members.
• Maintain a clinical caseload delivering early intervention.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
