Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking an Associate in Education Law to join its Bristol team. The role offers a hybrid pattern (2 days in the office) with a permanent, full-time contract and a salary between £55,000 and £85,000 depending on experience.

You will advise education providers across admissions, exclusions, safeguarding, SEND and regulatory matters, handling a varied caseload while developing specialist expertise within a nationally recognised practice.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in education law.
• Public law expertise is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and client handling skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Handle admissions, exclusions and appeals.
• Manage student behaviour, safeguarding, SEND and equality matters.
• Handle complaints, claims and tribunal work.
• Support registration, inspection and regulatory compliance.
• Provide specialist corporate support for education clients.
• Contribute to reputation protection and incident management.
