Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment is seeking an IT Technician to install, configure and support IT equipment in schools across the South London area and Tunbridge Wells. You will administer servers, cloud services, and network infrastructure while assisting staff with IT systems and driving user adoption of technology.

The role requires travel across South London, a full UK driving licence, and an Enhanced DBS check (the client will cover the DBS cost).

Qualifications

• Experience as an IT technician in education sector preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required due to travel.
• Strong communication and proactive IT professional.
• Willingness to travel across South London.
• Enhanced DBS check to be arranged by client.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support IT equipment in schools.
• Administer servers, cloud services, and network infrastructure.
• Provide hands-on technical support and staff training.
• Respond to user support requests via fault logging system.
• Coordinate changes with school IT coordinator.
