Job summary

EDClass Ltd in Dinnington, Sheffield is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver 1st and 2nd line desktop, AV and network support across the school-focused environment. You will manage Windows 10/11 and macOS issues, administer Microsoft 365 and Zoho CRM tools, and maintain device images, updates and security policies in line with KCSIE and GDPR.

The role requires at least 1–2 years in a technical support capacity, GCSEs in English and Maths, and a Level 3 IT qualification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Essential: GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
• Essential: Level 3 IT qualification (e.g., BTEC National, T-Level, Advanced IT Apprenticeship) OR demonstrable equivalent commercial experience.
• Essential: 1–2 years of hands-on technical support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support to staff and students via ticketing, phone or in person.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with Windows/MacOS and mobile devices; manage user accounts and mailboxes in Microsoft 365.
• Set up and maintain live teaching hardware components and AV equipment; ensure smooth platform connectivity.
