Job summary

Cathedral Appointments is assisting a well-established education provider in the Torbay area to recruit an ICT Network Manager. This hands-on leadership role will lead the ICT team and own the network, infrastructure and technical support to enable teaching, learning and administration.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will develop strategic ICT plans, ensure security, backup, continuity, and manage the helpdesk and procurement. The role is permanent, full-time (37 hours/week, 52 weeks).

Qualifications

• Degree-level ICT qualifications or substantial experience in building and maintaining an ICT network.
• Experience managing Windows servers, Hyper-V, Windows 10; strong infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with SIMS, Office 365 and Google Apps cloud systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the ICT team, monitoring performance and providing mentoring.
• Oversee strategic ICT plans, budgets, continuity arrangements and device lifecycle management.
• Ensure robust backup, recovery and GDPR-aligned data integrity procedures.
