Job summary

Cathedral Appointments Ltd is recruiting for an ICT Network Manager to lead the ICT team and own the organisation's network, infrastructure and technical support in the Torbay area. This hands-on leadership role focuses on security, reliability and future-proofing to support teaching, learning and administration.

The candidate will oversee strategic ICT planning, manage budgets, ensure data integrity under GDPR, and mentor the ICT team while advising senior leadership on technology strategy.

Qualifications

• Degree in ICT or substantial experience in ICT networks
• Extensive experience managing Windows networks and infrastructure
• Experience leading IT technicians and staff development
• Knowledge of GDPR and education ICT policies

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the ICT team, monitoring performance and delivering training
• Develop strategic ICT plans including budgets and continuity arrangements
• Oversee secure, reliable ICT systems and data integrity in line with standards
• Direct and develop the ICT helpdesk to ensure timely ticket resolution
• Manage ICT procurement, licensing and supplier relationships
• Ensure compliance with education sector ICT policies and guidance
