Job summary

Education Experts is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for a Coventry, West Midlands role supporting a group of local primary schools. The position is full-time with a six-month minimum commitment and a Monday–Friday pattern, 8am–4pm, with a shorter Friday finish.

Travel to sites within the area is expected. You will bring strong Safer Recruitment and SCR knowledge and a solid understanding of teachers' terms and conditions, plus experience with recruitment, onboarding, and payroll

Qualifications

• Relevant HR qualification, ideally CIPD Level 5.
• Substantial experience working in an education setting.
• Experience with Safer Recruitment and the SCR is essential.
• Strong understanding of teachers’ terms and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support school Office Managers with HR processes and advice.
• Review HR records and the SCR and implement improvements ahead of Ofsted inspections.
• Provide HR support around employee absence triggers.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding procedures.
• Potentially liaise with payroll and pensions providers.
• Support with minor casework for School Office Managers.
