Job summary

Greenshaw Learning Trust is seeking an experienced Assistant HR Partner to provide operational HR support across our South East region and to collaborate with Regional HR Partners on employee relations, compliance and Trust-wide projects.

You will cover schools during absences, handle complex casework, and ensure consistent HR processes across different environments with a focus on confidentiality and high standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Has substantial experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor with UK employment law knowledge.
• Experience across the full recruitment lifecycle, payroll support and HR investigations.
• Ability to advise across diverse school environments with confidentiality and tact.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and collaborative skills.
• Resilient and organised with ability to manage competing priorities and compliance risks.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational HR support to schools, including recruitment onboarding safeguarding checks and payroll.
• Act as Investigating Officer for disciplinary, grievance, bullying or harassment cases and HR hearings.
• Conduct termly HR assurance checks across schools reviewing records and procedures.
• Support School HR Leads on employment law, policies and terms and conditions.
• Assist Regional HR Partners with due diligence and TUPE processes.
