Job summary

Code Institute is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee delivery of funded education contracts. You will manage all deliverables from creation through negotiation to execution, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure timely and compliant contract performance.

Ideal candidates have 2-3+ years in contracts management, strong project and time management, and excellent communication. The role supports OFSTED preparation and requires a degree, with remote UK work and a focus on data-driven

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years experience in contracts management.
• Proven time management and project management skills.
• Great communication skills, including the ability to actively listen.
• Willingness to learn and be challenged.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders on multiple projects.
• Comfortable working in a high paced, data-driven environment.
• Third level degree.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for robust day-to-day management of contracted delivery working directly with managers, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Understand contract deliverables fully and ensure delivery complies with relevant funding rules and governance framework.
• Adopt a continuous improvement, informed approach to ensure contract delivery always meets the needs of the learners/employers.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy to ensure compliance with external audits.
• Maintain, produce and manage accurate financial forecasting, budgeting and performance-related reports for Senior Management and external partners.
• Responsible for identifying issues that might impact on contract delivery and taking the appropriate action, which entails supporting the development of remedial action and manage this through to conclusion or elevate as appropriate, to resolve and mitigate risks.
• Responsible for managing and developing relationships with stakeholders to support ensure successful contract fulfilment.
• Work with Head of LearningOps and Student Experience Manager to ensure contract deliverables are fulfilled.
• Support and actively contribute to OFSTED preparation.
• Gather, analyse and use data to make informed decisions to enhance company growth.
• Manage resources effectively and critically evaluate performance regularly.
• Review contract performance, evaluative performance and implement improvements.
• Represent the Company at Contract meetings with stakeholders.
• Support and drive business development.
