Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Academy in the West Midlands is seeking a fixed term, part-time Cleaning Operative to perform daily cleaning and sanitisation across our academy. You will ensure health and safety compliance while contributing to a high standard of cleanliness in a dynamic school environment.

We value literacy and numeracy, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a proactive approach to supporting our students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar environment with basic cleaning methods and use of equipment.
• Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning and sanitisation of the building and facilities.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times.
• Work within a supportive cleaning team and liaise with Catering Supervisor and SLT.
