Job summary

GMCA is seeking an experienced Education & Behavioural Change Manager to lead the Recycle for Greater Manchester education team. You will develop and deliver an engaging education programme for schools, community groups, students and professional audiences, including tours of facilities across Greater Manchester.

As the team’s manager you will lead, manage and support colleagues, set clear priorities and ensure work is delivered to a high standard while hands-on delivering tours and outreach

Qualifications

• Experience in education, training, teaching or community engagement.
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging sessions for different audiences.
• Turn complex information into clear, accessible content.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to health and safety, safeguarding, inclusion and accessibility.
• Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of an education programme for schools, communities, students and professional audiences.
• Deliver tours of facilities and outreach sessions across Greater Manchester.
• Manage and support colleagues, set priorities and ensure high-quality work.
• Ensure health and safety, risk management and safeguarding for all activities.
• Collaborate with GMCA, SUEZ, local authorities, schools and community partners.
• Evaluate impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
