Job summary

Renowned School in Southampton is seeking a proactive Audio Visual Technician to join its support team. You will ensure classrooms and event spaces are equipped and ready, setting up and operating AV equipment for lessons and activities.

The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining systems, providing staff and student support, and assisting with assemblies, open evenings and performances. Experience with projectors, interactive displays, microphones and streaming tech is desirable.

Qualifications

Experience setting up and operating AV equipment.
Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a school or similar environment.
Experience supporting events, presentations or performances.
Knowledge of digital presentation and conferencing platforms.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate and maintain AV equipment across classrooms and facilities.
Support teachers with projectors, interactive displays, screens, speakers and mics.
Troubleshoot issues quickly and provide practical solutions.
Assist with events, productions and large-scale activities.
Maintain AV equipment inventory and perform basic maintenance.
