Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Limited is seeking an Education and Training Manager in West London to lead the education department, maximise contract performance, deliver quality provision and exceed partner and learner expectations.

The role requires a Level 5 Teaching qualification and the ability to develop curriculum, manage staff and ensure compliance, inspections and audits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 5 Teaching qualification, or above (e.g. DET/CertEd/PGCE).
• Hold - or be willing to work towards - an IQA qualification.
• Must hold a relevant first degree and/or professional qualification.
• Must hold teaching experience.
• Must have experience of successful curriculum development and change.
• Strong leadership and performance management experience and skillset.
• Experience of Quality Assurance.
• Ability to inspire,lead and motivate teaching staff and learners.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that internal and external procedures are adhered to to ensure contracts are run compliantly (e.g., low risk audits; accurate and timely claims).
• Monitor contract performance through targets, learner attendance, progression, achievement, curriculum delivery and QA targets.
• Responsible for curriculum development in line with client needs, local labour market and employers.
• Work closely with delivery staff to ensure all financial and contractual targets are met and exceeded.
• Lead preparations for inspections, audits and external reviews.
• Recruitment of education and training staff.
• Maintain and develop positive partnerships, both internally and externally.

An exciting Education and Training Manager role with responsibility of leading and managing the education department and team, to maximise contract performance, deliver quality provision and exceed the expectations of partners and learners.

Duties:

• Ensuring that internal and external procedure are adhered to ensure that contracts are run compliantly (e.g., achieving low risk audits; accurate and timely claims).

• To ensure contract performance is maximised through the monitoring of contractual obligations, performance targets, learner attendance, progressions, achievement, curriculum delivery and quality assurance targets.
• Responsible for curriculum development in line with the needs of our client, local labour market and employers.
• Working closely with delivery staff to ensure all financial and contractual targets are met and exceeded.

• To lead preparations for inspections, audits and external reviews.

• Recruitment of education and training staff.
