Condé Nast is seeking an Editorial Operations Manager for British GQ in London. The role oversees day-to-day editorial operations across print, digital, social and video, working with Finance, Legal, People, and Production to ensure efficient workflows and compliant processes.

The position requires strong leadership, exceptional organisational skills, and experience managing editorial budgets in a fast-paced media environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage British GQ’s editorial budgets across print, digital, social and video.
• Partner with the Global Director of Editorial Operations and Head of Editorial Content on forward planning, content scheduling and resource allocation.
• Oversee editorial workflows and production processes across print issues, supplements and major projects, ensuring work is resourced, legally sound and delivered on time.
• Manage Content Planner and other editorial systems, ensuring information is accurate and consistently maintained.
• Oversee procurement, vendor onboarding and invoice processes, ensuring spend is approved, coded and processed.
• Partner with Business Affairs and Legal on contributor agreements, rights, permissions and editorial compliance, including tracking global rights and content sharing opportunities.
• Act as the primary day-to-day operational contact for the British GQ editorial team, guiding on company processes and resolving issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows and ways of working.
• Collaborate with People Team and editorial leadership on recruitment, onboarding and people-related issues.
• Support internal communications and operational delivery of key GQ events and projects.
• Share best practice and support cross-market and global initiatives across GQ and CondéNast.
• deputise for the Global Director of Editorial Operations on UK matters when appropriate.
