British GQ is seeking a Style Editor to write, commission and edit style content across print, digital, social and video. You will work with the Senior Style Editor and Lifestyle Director to shape coverage in menswear, luxury, watches, grooming and accessories, while identifying cultural conversations that define modern style.
You will write reactively and long-form features, develop new editorial franchises, and build relationships with fashion and luxury industries.

The Style Editor is a key editorial role within British GQ, responsible for writing, commissioning and editing style content across print, digital, social and video. Working closely with the Senior Style Editor, the Lifestyle Director, and the wider editorial team, they will help shape GQ's coverage across menswear, luxury, watches, grooming, and accessories, identifying the cultural conversations that define modern style.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding writer with strong editorial instincts, a digital‑first mindset and a deep understanding of fashion, luxury, watches, grooming and contemporary culture. They will be equally comfortable producing reactive news, long‑form features, celebrity style stories and trend‑led journalism, while developing new editorial franchises and identifying opportunities for audience growth. They will build and maintain strong relationships across the fashion and luxury industries, representing British GQ at fashion weeks, launches and industry events throughout the year. Working collaboratively across editorial, social, video, ecommerce, audience development and commercial teams, they will play an important role in delivering British GQ's editorial strategy while maintaining the brand's distinctive voice and standards.
The position reports directly to the Senior Style Editor, with a dotted line to the Lifestyle Director, and is based in London, with mandatory in‑office attendance Monday to Thursday.
