Job summary

Haymarket Media Group is seeking an Associate Editor for GP Business to drive high-quality content across written, audio and video formats. You will commission, write and edit editorial material, shaping the editorial direction and engaging a broad audience of primary care leaders.

You’ll build strong relationships with contributors and stakeholders, translate policy and financial topics for professional readers, and contribute to editorial innovation within the MIMS Healthcare Network.

Qualifications

• Experience in editorial, journalism or content creation, ideally in healthcare, business, B2B or professional publishing.
• Experience researching, writing, commissioning and editing high-quality content across digital and multimedia formats.
• Experience commissioning and managing external contributors, freelancers or subject matter experts.
• Experience publishing digital content using CMS, with understanding of audience engagement and content performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Research, commission, write and edit high-quality editorial content for multiple channels.
• Develop engaging content for website, newsletters, podcasts, webinars, video and social media.
• Build and maintain relationships with contributors and key stakeholders.
• Identify trends and policy developments to inform editorial planning.
• Produce commentary and analysis on developments affecting primary care leadership.
• Manage content publishing across digital channels and optimise for engagement.
• Collaborate across the MIMS Healthcare Network to identify opportunities for shared content.
