Job summary

Haymarket Media Group’s GP Business unit is seeking an Associate Editor to support growth by commissioning, writing and editing engaging content across digital platforms for primary care leaders. You will translate complex policy, finance and operational topics into clear content for readers, podcasts and video.

Collaborate with the wider MIMS Healthcare Network to drive editorial innovation. The role requires strong editorial judgement, relationship-building, and the ability to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in editorial, journalism or content creation, ideally in healthcare, business, B2B or professional publishing.
• Experience researching, writing, commissioning and editing high-quality content across digital and multimedia formats.
• Experience commissioning and managing external contributors, freelancers or subject matter experts.
• Experience publishing digital content using CMS, with understanding of audience engagement and content performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Research, commission, write and edit high-quality editorial content for GP Business across channels.
• Develop content for website, newsletters, podcasts, webinars, video and social media.
• Build relationships with contributors, healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
• Identify trends, policy developments and commercial opportunities for editorial planning.
• Produce commentary and analysis on primary care leadership developments.
• Plan and deliver GP Business editorial strategy with the Editor and manage publishing across digital channels.
• Collaborate with MIMS Healthcare Network colleagues to identify shared content opportunities.
