Haymarket Media Group is seeking an Associate Editor for GP Business to drive high-quality content across written, audio and video formats. You will commission, write and edit editorial material, shaping the editorial direction and engaging a broad audience of primary care leaders.
You’ll build strong relationships with contributors and stakeholders, translate policy and financial topics for professional readers, and contribute to editorial innovation within the MIMS Healthcare Network.

Working within GP Business
GP Business is the leading source of practical management, financial and contractual advice for GP partners, practice managers and primary care leaders. As part of the MIMS Healthcare Network, GP Business supports healthcare professionals with trusted editorial content that helps them navigate the evolving primary care landscape.
As primary care continues to evolve, GP Business is expanding its editorial focus to engage a broader audience, including leaders across Primary Care Networks (PCNs), GP Federations, neighbourhood teams and wider NHS management.
The Role
The Associate Editor plays a key role in supporting the continued growth and development of GP Business by creating high-quality editorial content across multiple channels.

Work closely with the Editor of GP Business to develop your knowledge and skills, while building strong relationships with the wider medical editorial team, particularly GPonline, to share ideas, develop contacts and collaborate on high-quality content that supports the wider MIMS Healthcare Network.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
Knowledge
Understanding of the NHS, healthcare policy and the primary care landscape is desirable, with an appreciation of the challenges and opportunities facing healthcare professionals and organisations.
Interest in healthcare management, leadership, finance and policy, with the ability to quickly develop subject matter expertise in complex or technical topics.
Awareness of the evolving digital media landscape and how audiences consume content across multiple channels.
