Career Opportunities: Editorial Assistant - Healthcare (575)

Reports to: Senior/Principal Editorial Coordinator/Editorial Manager

Location: UK

Job Summary

Working under the supervision of senior colleagues, providing high-quality editorial and administrative support across a range of client deliverables and accounts.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing day-to-day support on various editorial projects.
  2. Managing databases accurately and promptly (Datavision, iEnvision, Veeva, etc).
  3. Maintaining quality control across all materials produced by OPEN Health.
  4. Collaborating with medical & scientific, client, and creative teams on diverse projects.
  5. Understanding editorial processes, such as booking, briefing, and managing timelines/budgets.
  6. Flagging potential issues related to time, budget, or scope to managers.
  7. Developing knowledge of therapy areas and client brands.
  8. Staying updated on industry guidelines.
  9. Participating in internal and external meetings as required.
  10. Engaging in brainstorms and team discussions.
  11. Submitting accurate and timely timesheets.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Motivated, passionate, and dedicated.
  • Degree in Life Sciences or English Language.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Basic proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare marketing/communications aims.
