Job summary

Haymarket Media Group in the UK seeks an Associate Editor for MIMS Pharma to develop high-quality, data-led content for pharmaceutical audiences. You will work with editorial, marketing and commercial teams to turn data into insightful content and grow the MIMS Pharma proposition.

You will report to the Editor, coordinate with prescriber contacts, and deliver content across multiple channels, including newsletters, social media and multimedia formats.

Qualifications

• Background in journalism, writing, editing or research.
• Ability to research and develop content using data and information from multiple sources.
• Experience building professional networks to generate content ideas.
• Experience across multiple content formats and digital channels.
• Strong editorial quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, data-led content focused on UK primary care prescribing for pharmaceutical industry audiences.
• Research and interpret developments in prescribing and healthcare to identify content opportunities.
• Identify and develop information and data sources to generate content leads and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with prescriber and pharmaceutical contacts to support research.
• Create content across formats (written, audio, video) and distribute via newsletters and social media.
• Identify opportunities to use internal and external data to develop premium content for MIMS Pharma.
• Collaborate with MIMS/MIMS Pharma teams to deliver editorial products and content initiatives.
• Review audience engagement and analytics to improve content performance.
• Support audience research to inform editorial priorities for MIMS Pharma.
• Work with marketing, subscription and commercial teams to support business objectives.
• Manage multiple editorial priorities and deadlines.
