Brighton & Hove Albion FC in Lancing is seeking an Editor to shape our editorial strategy across web, app and print, delivering live matchday content and exclusive features for a global fanbase.
You will work with the Senior Editor to manage fast-paced workflows, craft exclusive interviews, tactical analyses, academy updates and historical pieces that fans can’t find elsewhere, especially on matchdays.

Step into the heart of our media operations and help shape the story of our club
Working alongside the Senior Editor, you will drive a comprehensive editorial strategy across our web, app and print platforms, managing a high-energy workflow that delivers the iconic editorial pieces. You will be the driving force behind our daily news cycle, crafting exclusive player interviews, tactical analysis, academy updates, and historical features that give our global fanbase content they can’t find anywhere else. On matchdays, you’ll be right in the thick of the action, delivering live text commentary, on-the-whistle reports and razor-sharp analytical pieces across the first teams and academies.
Experience That Will Help You Thrive
We are looking for someone who understands audience segmentation, push notification strategy and optimizing content specifically for mobile app and web readers and has strong communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels and produce written communication of a high quality.
Capacity to thrive under pressure, hitting tight embargoes and fast turnaround matchday deadlines without sacrificing quality. Willingness to work flexible, non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, is a must have for this role.
