Job summary

Brighton & Hove Albion FC is seeking a Matchday Stadium Assistant to support our home matchdays at the American Express Stadium in Brighton. The role involves setting up stadium equipment and facilities to high standards, performing cleaning and event prep across spaces, and implementing weather-related safety measures to protect supporters.

The role requires teamwork, ability to meet deadlines, and a willingness to work on matchdays during the 26/27 season.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as part of a team and meeting deadlines.
• Understanding of COSHH is desirable.
• Experience in cleaning tasks or large facilities is beneficial.

• Carrying out cleaning, deep-cleaning and event preparation across public and staff spaces.
• Executing weather-related safety measures to keep stadium areas safe for supporters.
• Identifying facility defects and reporting stock shortages to enable a smooth matchday experience.

• Setting up and preparing stadium equipment, facilities, and public areas to elite Premier League standards.
• Carrying out essential cleaning, deep-cleaning, and event preparation across public and staff spaces.
• Executing weather-related safety measures to ensure all stadium areas remain secure and safe for supporters.
• Identifying facility defects, reporting stock shortages, and collaborating across departments to deliver an exceptional matchday experience.

About you

We are looking for someone who has experience of working as part of a team, a proven track record of delivering high standards of work within a specific deadline and ideally an understanding of COSHH. If you have experience of working in a large facility or carrying out cleaning tasks, this would be great, however this is not essential.
