Job summary

Education Authority (Northern Ireland) invites applications for a role delivering training and support for EdIS/C2k MIS across schools. You will design and deliver in-service training, assist with system customisation, and provide school-based and service desk support under a Locality Manager.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with eligibility to teach in grant-aided NI schools.
• Five years' teaching experience in grant-aided schools and/or advisory roles.
• Demonstrable staff leadership/management experience in schools.
• Experience in customization/implementation of school MIS.
• Proven delivery of in-service training related to the post.
• Curriculum planning experience in schools.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development and delivery of in-service strategies for MIS use in schools.
• Deliver training to clerical, admin and teaching staff within guidelines.
• Support ongoing development and testing of system enhancements and documentation.
• Contribute to customization of Core and Curriculum systems and related docs.
• Provide progress reports to Locality Manager and EdIS/C2k Lead Manager.
• Offer Service Desk, remote and on-site support to school staff.
• Assist schools in using MIS to meet external data requirements.
• Advise on security and control procedures for computerized systems.
