Job summary

Morris Sinclair Recruitment is seeking a 1st Line IT Support Technician in Edinburgh to join a fast-paced MSP team. The role involves handling end-user requests, resolving basic issues, and escalating when needed, with a focus on the Microsoft ecosystem.

You should have recent IT support exposure or an Apprenticeship, strong problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working 9-5, Monday to Friday in the Edinburgh City Centre office. Training and mentoring are provided.

Qualifications

• This role requires hands-on 1st line IT support experience or recent completion of an IT Apprenticeship.
• Experience handling calls and live chats with accurate ticket notes and timely resolution.
• Comfort supporting MS 365, Azure, Windows desktops and servers, plus basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and live chats, entering ticket notes accurately.
• Resolve 1st Line issues or escalate to appropriate teams.
• Support end-users in Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows environments.
• Maintain organised documentation and meet deadlines in a busy MSP.
