You’ll play a pivotal role in this transformation, helping us tackle the industry’s biggest challenges and deliver life-changing solutions for individuals and families. This role, within the Digital team, will operate in one of a group of newly-formed product teams building microfrontend services to enable customer and business scalability.

We’re looking for a pioneer Product Manager who will excel at forming and taking ownership of one of these newly-formed product services, creating a scalable foundation in an established enterprise environment. As the driving force behind your squad, you’ll have the independence to shape your strategy, make key decisions, and deliver impactful solutions, while collaborating with passionate and talented colleagues. You will always have the support of experienced senior product people, including Heads of Product.

You’ll possess a strong product management background, with experience in healthcare or building enterprise technical services preferred, as we look to build out the next generation in digital health.

  • Define the Direction: Develop a compelling vision, strategy and roadmap for your domain to deliver solutions that address long-standing issues like accessibility and delays in care.
  • Pioneer A New Platform Model: Be at the forefront of implementing an innovative new service model that redefines Bupa's technical healthcare delivery.
  • Build Cutting-Edge Services: Build, mature, then drive adoption of configurable microfrontend services consumed by Bupa product teams, revolutionising our tech stack for scalability and flexibility.
  • Lead with Impact: Inspire and guide a cross-functional agile team to create innovative digital products that improve healthcare outcomes and provide excellent user experiences.
  • Own Your Domain: Establish best practice of a new domain, clearly defining the scope, remit and responsibilities to create a high-performing product team.
  • Deliver Customer-Centric Solutions: Champion the customer’s voice, identifying pain points and creating solutions that help users access faster and better care while staying well for longer.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate the roadmap, progress and key metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Working: Work closely with other Product people, Design, Engineering and Delivery to deliver first-class solutions and manage dependencies across squads.
  • Optimise with Data: Leverage analytics, customer feedback, and market trends to refine customer journeys and deliver measurable impact.
  • Promote Inclusivity: Build products that are accessible to everyone, ensuring no one is left behind in the digital health revolution.

You

  • Proven Experience in Product Management: Experience leading product squads in digital health or related industries, with a track record of taking ownership from concept to delivery.
  • Champion Change: Lead the transformation of our tech ways of working, owning the product strategy, and fostering a culture of improvement and innovation in a large, matured organisation.
  • Able to Navigate Complexity: Remove ambiguity from complex systems and processes, establishing trust and credibility with stakeholders to scale new technical approaches that drive customer outcomes.
  • Vision and Ownership: The ability to define a bold product strategy and take accountability for delivering measurable outcomes aligned with user needs and business goals.
  • Collaborative Mindset: A strong ability to foster collaboration across disciplines, from engineering to design, ensuring the success of your autonomous squad.
  • Agility and Adaptability: Comfortable working in a complex environment, navigating challenges with agility.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in leveraging analytics and insights to prioritise effectively, optimise customer journeys, and inform strategic decisions.
  • User-Centric Approach: A deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to champion their voice within your squad to create solutions that delight and drive value.
  • Strong Communication and Influence: Exceptional communication skills to engage and educate stakeholders on your vision, creating a shared understanding across the business for your squads service.
