A global technology developer is seeking a Senior Accountant for their R+D HQ in Cambridge. The role involves statutory audits and accounting across EMEA, working with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and US GAAP. Ideal candidates will be ACA/ACCA qualified with a relevant degree and strong communication skills. A Senior Accountant is urgently sought by this global technology developer to be based at their R+D HQ in Cambridge. The Senior Accountant will be working alongside teams in the UK and India working on local statutory audits and accounting across EMEA. The Senior Accountant will be working with a number of key stakeholders including tax, corporate legal and local auditors producing local GAAP statutory accounts compliant with local reporting obligations and working with month end accounts in accordance with US GAAP.
You will be a qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent (having excellent pass rates) and ideally hold a degree in Accounting, Business, Mathematics, Science or Engineering. Your background could include experience working in practice now looking to move into industry or already working in industry but looking to expand your responsibilities. Any experience working in a large audit firm would be beneficial as would some exposure to IFRS accounting. You should be confident in your communication and Microsoft Office skills and any exposure to Oracle or similar ERP systems would be a bonus.
