Sales Manager - Media Agency - UK

London /Sales – Sales /Full-time/ Hybrid

The Game Plan: An exciting opportunity has become available to join a growing, hardworking, and ambitious UK sales team. 2024 will be a HUGE year for football with London and Dublin hosting the UEFA Champions League and Europa League Finals, as well as the Euro’s in Germany, the cultural home of OneFootball. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive the business agenda and outcomes of these tournaments firsthand by leveraging existing media agency relationships and developing new ones across the industry. This will help educate clients about the OneFootball proposition and provide solutions to meet their challenges/objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Utilise existing relationships and develop new ones at relevant Client Direct and Media Agencies to unlock new revenue opportunities
  • Utilise audiences and media opportunities across OneFootball's digital platforms to develop appropriate advertising solutions
  • Manage the entire process from receiving a brief to delivering the campaign
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM systems, forecasts, and pipelines
  • Meet and exceed quarterly/annual revenue targets (local and global bookings from the UK)
  • Build strong internal relationships with clubs, publishers, editorial, social, legal, and marketing teams
  • Host and entertain strategically important clients at relevant events

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven success in media sales
  • Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and proactive attitude
  • Established network of media agency contacts
  • Ability to interpret client objectives, create aligned responses, and present effectively
  • Strong understanding of the digital media industry
  • Experience selling to UK and/or international account teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player

Nice to have (but not necessary):

  • Experience selling football
  • Enthusiasm for football or sports in general
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
