Job Description:
As an experienced internal communications manager, you will support the day-to-day internal communications activity across the group. You will help align colleagues with our vision and business goals, and drive high levels of understanding, connection, and engagement.
Outcomes of the Role
- Help activate the group-wide colleague communications strategy, managing the day-to-day delivery of clear, effective, and engaging communication across the business.
- Draw on the company narrative through end-to-end production, distribution, and amplification of high-impact communications to key colleague audiences, in partnership with a range of stakeholders from across the business.
- Identify and drive activities that bring to life our company culture and foster a strong sense of community and connection among colleagues.
- Manage a modern and integrated mix of channels and content formats to execute colleague engagement campaigns, in-person and virtual events, and more.
- Develop and deliver communication plans supporting various initiatives, including change and transformation workstreams.
- Act as a trusted communications adviser to the business, supporting senior leaders' communication needs and building relationships with stakeholders.
- Work with the wider Colleague Communications team to maintain and improve planning, production, and measurement processes for internal communications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Proven experience in internal communications roles, developing and activating strategies in large organizations.
- Tech-savvy and data-driven, capable of activating and measuring campaigns across various channels, including SharePoint and social intranets.
- Understanding of creative production principles, with ability to produce content visually with minimal support (including video and events).
- Excellent storytelling, writing, and presentation skills, with experience in crafting compelling narratives.
- Highly organized, attentive to detail, flexible with changing requirements, and able to manage multiple campaigns and projects.
- Proven stakeholder influence skills across the business.
- Experience in the Wealth and Asset Management industry or Financial Services sector is advantageous but not required.
