Job description

Job Title: Head Chef

In your role as a Head Chef at HC One, you'll value one thing above all: kindness. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include managing the kitchen team to cook and serve nutritious, healthy meals that our Residents will love. You'll provide a variety of options, considering cultural preferences and dietary requirements. Whether managing food stock, optimizing your budget, or liaising with support teams on nutrition standards, Resident wellbeing will always be your top priority.

Qualifications and Skills
  • S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery
  • Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points
  • Positive energy and ability to get along with people
  • Organized, autonomous, and able to follow recipes accurately
  • Considerate and kind communication skills
Additional Requirements
