Location: Ely

Salary: £25,400 - £26,737 per year

Working hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

We are seeking a Mobile Caretaker to join our team based in Ely.

This position is within Sanctuary Maintenance Contractors Limited (SMCL), responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective property repairs, estate services, gas servicing, installation, and maintenance across the UK to internal and external clients.

The role of Mobile Caretaker includes:

• Providing estate maintenance through caretaking, cleaning, minor repairs, and groundskeeping, compliant with local and legislative standards
• Maintaining accurate, timely work records and providing clear progress updates to customers
• Performing compliance checks across various properties

Skills and experience required:

• Literacy and numeracy at Grade C GCSE level in English and Maths
• Practical skills in minor repairs and decorating
• Strong interpersonal, customer care, and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Ability to understand simple verbal instructions
• Experience with computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
• A valid UK driving licence, as the role involves driving company vehicles
