Take samples from a variety of water/wastewater operational sites and customers in accordance with regulations prescribed by the Drinking Water Inspectorate and the Environment Agency. The role requires compliance with ISO17025 standards and adherence to sampling procedures to ensure accuracy. The sampler must exercise discretion in sampling to prevent household plumbing issues from causing compliance failures. This position involves customer interaction, so a customer-focused approach and empathetic communication skills are essential. The role impacts company targets related to DWI, EA, Serviceability, and SIM. Additionally, the sampler will assess operational sites for security, effectiveness, and potential defects that could lead to compliance or health & safety issues.
This is a full-time role with a compressed schedule: Friday to Monday, covering the Hampshire area including the Isle of Wight.
