Social Media Manager
What you'll be working on
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for a new travel startup.
- Create engaging content across multiple social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn).
- Build and grow a vibrant online community of travel enthusiasts, travel pros, and travel shoppers.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align social media efforts with brand messaging.
- Track and analyze social media performance and engagement metrics.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality, visually appealing content including photos, videos, and graphics.
- Manage daily social media posting schedules.
- Respond to comments, messages, and engage with followers.
- Research and implement emerging social media trends and platforms.
- Monitor and report on social media KPIs and audience growth.
- Develop creative campaigns to increase brand awareness and user engagement.
- Coordinate with influencers and travel content creators for potential partnerships.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in travel or lifestyle sectors.
- Proven track record of growing social media audiences.
- Excellent photography and video editing skills.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking.
- Creativity and ability to create compelling, shareable content.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- Passionate about travel.
