A leading company in technical product distribution is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its operations in the Midlands. The role focuses on new business development and account management, requiring a proven track record in selling industrial tapes to OEMs. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships.
As a consistently growing global business, we are eager to add talent and resources to our UK team. The UK business is a technical product distributor partnering with a wide range of OEMs. Covering the Midlands, as our Business Development Manager, you'll focus on new business development and account management, with experience in selling industrial tapes to OEMs.
£50,000 - £55,000
Birmingham
Based from home, you'll travel throughout the Midlands. Possible residences include Northampton, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Peterborough, Derby, or Nottingham.
Having acquired a new business primarily in the northern region, we are looking to expand our team to serve customers across the Midlands. You will manage a relatively new territory with significant potential and existing clients, offering you the chance to shape its growth without legacy challenges.
Business Development Manager / Technical Area Sales Manager - Industrial Tapes to OEMs
Applicants should have a proven track record of selling industrial adhesive tapes into OEMs. Candidates with experience in selling other technically biased products such as chemicals, adhesives, or resins via trials and specifications to OEMs will also be considered.
Successful candidates will demonstrate tenacity in engaging decision-makers, strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships, as project lead times can be lengthy.
