Job Title: Credit Structurer

You will join as a Credit Structurer, working with the Insurance Solutions and Financing trading desk within our Credit Solutions business.

Credit Structuring is a team of over 30 professionals responsible for devising, originating, and executing various structured finance transactions. The team collaborates with multiple trading desks within Deutsche Bank’s Global Financing and Credit Trading division, including Direct Lending, Infrastructure & Energy, Global Transportation Financing, Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Portfolios, and Credit Solutions.

The Insurance Solutions and Financing unit pursues strategies involving insurance risk components.

Your key responsibilities

• Creating and implementing insurance-wrapped financing structures for financial assets, including fund units
• Financing of later life lending products, such as Equity Release Mortgages
• Providing debt financing to insurance holding companies, including private equity-backed entities
• Executing solutions trades for insurers to address capital, liquidity, or technical requirements

Your skills and experience

• Background in front office markets
• Structured finance experience from an investment bank or fund
• Securitisation experience is a plus; insurance-related experience is beneficial but not essential
• Strong technical and financial modelling skills
• Ability to handle all transaction aspects, including client interactions, structuring, documentation, and approvals
• Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
