Job description

About the Role

As a Structurer you will support the assessment and underwriting of complex structured finance transactions across a large variety of sectors (e.g., corporate finance, project and infrastructure finance, trade finance) and geographies. You will be fully involved in live transactions with the support of very experienced finance professionals, having the opportunity to develop a high level of proficiency in areas such as credit analysis, structuring and client management.

Key responsibilities

  • Transaction assessment, including analysis of technical, market and legal due-diligence, cash flow models and Industry analysis.
  • Preparing credit memoranda and presenting transactions to credit committees in a concise and confident manner.
  • Review and execution of transaction documentation.
  • Interacting with other underwriters, support areas, the management team, and clients for the successful execution of transactions.
  • Monitor transactions post-closing.

About the Team

The Credit & Surety team aims at taking credit risk positions by providing risk transfer solutions to leading international banks. You will be working with a very engaged and collaborative team of experienced finance professionals. As part of the build out of the team, we are looking for a Structurer reporting to a Senior Structurer.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering or similar.
  • You have 2-5 years' experience with a bank or other financial institution in structured finance or corporate finance.
  • You have a good understanding of assessing credit obligors across industries and structures.
  • You are comfortable in articulating clearly and concisely the aspects of complex transactions.
  • You are an inclusive team player with "hands on" approach.
  • You have a solution-oriented mentality and enjoy a high-performance collaborative culture.
