Vehicle Technician at Lookers Mercedes Benz of Worcester

Lookers Mercedes Benz of Worcester is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and performing additional repairs.

Reporting to the Service Manager, Bill Forbes, you will receive ongoing support and training opportunities, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to advance your career.

Our technicians are vital to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages to apply.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
• Conducting vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
• Performing additional repairs with customer approval
• Completing warranty repairs as per manufacturer guidelines and documentation
• Road testing vehicles to ensure faults are rectified
• Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to work to high standards. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification are required. An MOT licence would be advantageous.

Previous experience with the brand is beneficial but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
