PowerBI Developer - Birchwood - £50-55k + Bonus

The Company:
Lorien Global is working with a global digital brand based in Birchwood. The company focuses on data-driven insights and is growing its reporting team by adding an experienced PowerBI Developer.

The Role:
Joining the Data Insights and Reporting Team, you will be responsible for optimizing the PowerBI reporting suite and ensuring the business has access to accurate and informative reports. A key project involves building and improving a self-serve solution for employees to utilize effectively.

You will work closely with the Principal to enhance complex platforms and review the work of junior team members, with the goal of their professional growth.

The Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Microsoft's PowerBI platform
• Excellent data modeling, platform optimization, and data relationship skills
• Proficiency in SQL querying and DAX coding
• Experience with complex data such as insurance, banking, stock markets, or financial services is helpful
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff
• Strong cross-team collaboration skills
