Reason for vacancy

Due to our continued growth and the increasing complexity of D365 projects, we are expanding our team to include a dedicated Senior Data Architect.

Job Purpose

This is a highly visible role involving direct interaction with customers. The Senior Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of solutions, support project life cycles, and collaborate with various teams to utilize the full capabilities of D365 and Microsoft Azure.

The role involves providing modeling and analytical direction, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective delivery, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in implementing D365 solutions with the project team.
• Define architecture for business intelligence and reporting landscapes.
• Create architectural models and documentation, communicating decisions clearly.
• Design intelligent data systems to support forecasts, predictions, and decision-making.
• Design and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems to D365.
• Develop master-data concepts and distribution strategies.
• Create proof of concept solutions.
• Serve as a technical liaison between customer teams, internal teams, and Microsoft.
• Ensure implementation aligns with architectural designs and standards.
• Produce system architecture and design documentation per HSO standards.
• Apply HSO project delivery methodologies.
• Manage data migration between environments.
• Represent HSO professionally and maintain certifications and knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and promote beneficial innovations.
• Maintain commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
• Plan, organize, and lead technical initiatives.

Location

Role involves travel, with at least 3 days per week on client sites. Flexibility to work from various locations, including the office, client sites, or home, is expected.

Requirements

Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ERP systems like Dynamics AX 2012, D365, SAP, Azure, AWS, etc.
• Experience as a functional/data migration or integration lead.
• Knowledge of D365 Apps, Common Data Service, Power Query, SSIS, Data Warehouse, ETL processes.
• Understanding of Microsoft tools such as Data Management Framework, OData, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, CDS, Connectors, and third-party integration tools.
• Ability to design middleware-based integration architectures.
• Strong data architecture knowledge, capable of handling high data volumes securely and efficiently.
• Understanding of GDPR and data compliance.
• Knowledge of BI tools and defining KPIs for business insights.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and implementation skills.
• Ability to learn independently and advise on emerging technologies.

Beneficial Skills

• Multiple Dynamics 365 implementations.
• Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 or related fields.
• Understanding of D365 Finance & Operations and Sales modules.
• Experience with LCS and DevOps.
• Degree-level education.
