Preston Schools Seeking 2025 ECTs

Your new company
Are you an ECT primary teacher who wants to network your skills in the Preston and Lancashire area?
At Hays, we have a variety of popular and well-respected schools already seeking out new and enthusiastic ECTs for their full-time posts. We are looking for ECTs who are able to teach engaging and dynamic lessons across the curriculum in their specific subject. Required to start for September 2025.

Your new role
As an ECT/NQT you will be working with a number of primary schools across various areas in the Preston & Lancashire area. The jobs we offer will require you to have previous and relevant experience. You may be expected to follow lesson plans as well as deliver them. We can offer you day-to-day positions, short-term contracts as well as longer-term and permanent opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must hold qualified teacher status (QTS) or be on your way to obtaining it. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running and make a difference. Good knowledge of either the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculums is also key and you should be able to evidence this with your teaching placements.
