Your new company

Are you an ECT secondary teacher who wants to network your skills in the local area of Preston, Leyland, Fylde Coast, and Lancaster?

At Hays, we have a variety of popular and well-respected schools already seeking new and enthusiastic ECTs for their full-time posts. We are looking for ECTs who can teach engaging and dynamic lessons across the curriculum in their specific subject. The role is required to start in September 2025.

Your new role

As an ECT/NQT, you will work with a number of secondary schools across areas in Preston, Fylde Coast, and surrounding regions. The jobs we offer may require previous relevant experience, and you may be expected to follow lesson plans and deliver lessons. We offer day-to-day positions, short-term contracts, as well as long-term roles that can last more than a term and potentially lead to permanent employment.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you must hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable, and ready to start quickly.
