ECTs - Early Career Teachers - Register With Hays

Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking supply teaching opportunities in Preston, Leyland, Fylde Coast, and Lancaster? Hays is currently recruiting enthusiastic ECTs for various roles across well-respected secondary schools.

We offer part-time and full-time positions with flexible working hours and pay scales to match experience. These roles provide a fantastic opportunity to develop your teaching skills across different schools and year groups.

Your new company

At Hays, we collaborate with numerous schools looking for new ECTs to fill full-time positions starting September 2025. You will be expected to deliver engaging lessons across your subject area, following school curricula and lesson plans as needed.

Your new role

You will work with multiple secondary schools in the Preston, Fylde Coast, and surrounding areas. We offer day-to-day, short-term, and long-term contracts, some of which may lead to permanent employment.

What you'll need to succeed

You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) gained in the UK. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, approachable, and capable of quickly adapting to different school environments.
