At Hays, we have a variety of popular and well-respected schools already seeking enthusiastic ECTs for their full-time posts. We are looking for ECTs who can teach engaging and dynamic lessons across the curriculum. The position is required to start in September 2025.

Your new role

As an ECT/NQT, you will work with a number of primary schools across various areas in the Blackburn region. The roles we offer may require you to follow lesson plans and deliver lessons. We can provide day-to-day, short-term, and longer-term positions, some lasting more than a term, which could lead to permanent employment.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you must hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable, and able to hit the ground running. A good knowledge of the EYFS, KS1, or KS2 curriculum is also expected.
