Job summary

PK Education is seeking Early Career Teachers for supply roles across South Yorkshire, including Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster. Start date September 2026, with ongoing placements and full-time supply contracts.

You'll teach in your specialist subject across KS3 and KS4, with schools providing schemes of work and resources where appropriate. The role offers exposure to different departments and school environments, helping you build confidence with various behaviour systems.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or will have achieved QTS by September.
• Confident teaching their specialist subject across KS3 and KS4.
• Able to adapt to different schools and schemes of work.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS3 and KS4 in your specialist subject across multiple placements.
• Support pupils across different schools and environments in South Yorkshire.
• Collaborate with PK Education and school staff to deliver effective lessons.

Salary: £140–£170 per day, dependent on experience

Are you an ECT looking for your first teaching role?

PK Education are looking to speak to Early Career Teachers across South Yorkshire who want to build their experience through supply from September.

Supply can be a great option for ECTs who aren't quite ready to commit to a permanent school or who want the opportunity to experience different departments and school environments before deciding where they want to settle.

You'll be teaching within your specialist subject and working across KS3 and KS4, with schools providing their existing schemes of work and resources where appropriate.
