Job summary

Career Teachers is recruiting Early Career Teachers for supply roles across Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Dronfield & Chesterfield. Start date: September 2026. Pay: £120–£150 per day. Work across a range of primary schools, delivering pre-planned lessons and gaining diverse classroom experience.

You will manage behaviour, adapt to different school settings, and support pupil progress while building confidence and professional practice within a supportive consultancy.

Qualifications

• QTS or working towards it (ECTs welcome).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS or has one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across your subject or key stage
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies

About the Role

We are recruiting passionate Early Career Teachers to work on a supply basis in a range of primary schools across Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster Dronfield & Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity to build confidence, develop your teaching practice, and experience up to 50 different school environments. As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and support pupils' academic progress while adapting to different classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities
