Job summary

Long-Term Teachers Ltd is recruiting Early Careers Teachers for primary schools in the Brixham area starting October. Positions offered include both full-time and part-time, with QTS required and work located at in-person schools across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

As an ECT you will work with a mentor, gain feedback for ongoing professional development, and take on responsibilities of a class teacher including planning, assessment and parent communication within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• QTS is required to teach in UK primary schools.
• Work authorization for the United Kingdom is required.
• Teaching roles require candidate to work in person at schools.

The Role

As an ECT, you will have the opportunity to work with a member of staff within the school to be observed and gain feedback to continue your professional development.

You will take on the responsibilities of the Class Teacher, planning engaging lessons, assessing children’s development and communicating clearly with parents.

However, you will be doing this in a safe environment where you can explore and develop personally too.

You will be expected to:

• Be excited and passionate about starting your Teaching career.
• Be willing to learn and develop
• Work closely with other members of staff to provide an engaging learning environment for the children.
• Follow policies closely and adapt to some curriculum.
• Have strong behavior management techniques.
