Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work as supply staff in primary schools across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

Opportunities are available on a part-time or full-time basis, offering flexible hours and a chance to gain classroom experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Deliver engaging lessons, follow school plans, manage behaviour, and build confident relationships with pupils while benefiting from dedicated consultant support and pathways to longer-term

Qualifications

• QTS or currently completing teacher training.
• Welcome ECTs seeking valuable classroom experience.
• Ability to teach across primary year groups with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Follow school planning and policies where provided.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and school settings.
• Manage behaviour effectively and build pupil relationships.
• Support pupils' learning throughout the day.

Supply teaching is an excellent way to develop your teaching practice, explore different school settings, and build relationships with local schools. Many of our ECTs go on to secure long-term placements and permanent teaching positions through their supply work.

The Role

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training
