A global fashion retailer is seeking an ecommerce project manager to take ownership of digital delivery across a complex, multi-channel operation. This is a senior individual contributor role suited to a candidate who is accustomed to leading projects autonomously and is comfortable operating at the intersection of commercial, operational and technical stakeholders.
The successful candidate will lead e-commerce projects independently from initiation through to delivery, taking accountability for business outcomes rather than delivery milestones alone. Responsibilities include business partnering across product, operations, logistics and development functions, contributing to strategic decision making. Working across the ecommerce platform, you will be driving process optimisation initiatives that improve operational efficiency. The role also carries a substantive operational support and incident management component, working alongside the development team to establish root cause, coordinate resolution, and implement structural improvements that reduce recurrence.
Candidates must have demonstrable experience in a comparable project management role within a retail environment. Proven experience working directly with development teams is essential, including the ability to engage credibly in technical discussions and to translate effectively between engineering and commercial stakeholders. Working SQL proficiency is a requirement of the role.
The organisation places considerable emphasis on professional development. In return, you will be offered a salary of £75,000. There is a bonus and benefits package that includes healthcare incentives and various discounts. The offices are in Central London, and the company offers hybrid working.
