Job summary

Digital Waffle is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives in a fast-paced ecommerce environment. The role is based in Hereford with hybrid work (minimum 1 day onsite) and a strong focus on end-to-end delivery and governance.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering and Tech Leads, manage budgets and timelines, and mentor peers to raise delivery capability across the team. A delivery-focused mindset and excellent stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large, complex technology projects from initiation to completion.
• Experience managing budgets, governance, forecasting and financial control.
• Experience with Agile software delivery environments with Engineering and Product teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and iterative development.
• Experience in ecommerce, digital retail or customer-facing tech environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing cross-functional dependencies, risks and priorities.
• Hands-on with Jira, Confluence and modern delivery tools.
• Excellent communication with a delivery-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring or developing Project Managers.
• APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience delivering projects involving customer journeys, checkout, ecommerce platforms or digital transformation.
