The Role (12 months maternity cover)

The eCommerce Marketplace Manager will oversee daily management of Amazon and other marketplaces, collaborating on strategic e-Commerce initiatives with the Senior International/EU eCommerce Manager and the MD/VP UK, China & International. The focus will be on increasing sales of existing products and launching new ones online. The role involves participating in the EU Amazon working group, sharing knowledge, and consulting with our US team on reporting and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the marketplace strategy for the UK, working with senior management.
• Manage daily operations and development of online channels, especially Amazon 1P and 3P.
• Optimize Amazon advertising campaigns to maximize ROI.
• Create and optimize product listings for maximum visibility and sales.
• Manage review generation programs.
• Support Amazon asset creation, A+ content, and brand page updates.
• Conduct market research on competitors for growth opportunities.
• Create weekly sales reports and analyze performance.
• Identify trending products, analyze trends, and develop troubleshooting strategies.
• Develop strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, and improve conversion rates, including pricing, PPC, packaging, and customer communication.
• Coordinate product launches with internal teams.
• Work with supply chain to ensure stock availability, quality, updated packaging, and certifications.

Experience:

• At least 4 years of experience on Amazon, preferably both 1P and 3P.
• Experience with other platforms like eBay and OnBuy.
• Budgeting and forecasting skills.
• Stock control management.
