Job summary

Huishan Zhang Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Ecommerce & Trading Assistant to support daily online operations, merchandising, and customer experience in a luxury fashion environment.

You will maintain Shopify product data, support weekly trading updates, and coordinate with teams to ensure a seamless online journey for customers. Prioritising accuracy and brand standards, you will help drive online performance and stock integrity across the site.

Responsibilities

• Upload and maintain products on Shopify (imagery, pricing, descriptions, product details).
• Ensure all product data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
• Manage Shopify backend including collections, navigation, and homepage updates.
• Support weekly trading updates, actively merchandising the website to optimise performance.
• Manage all customer service queries across ecommerce and social media channels.
• Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries (orders, delivery, sizing, returns).
• Maintain a high standard of brand tone and customer care.
• Process online returns in line with company T&Cs and ensure items meet QC standards.
• Monitor comments and messages on paid social ads (e.g. Facebook/Instagram).
• Ensure products featured in campaigns are in stock and available online.
• Support the planning and execution of ecommerce shoots, including running orders, sample preparation, and on-set assistance.
• Provide ad hoc support during sample sales and stock takes.
• Assist with inventory organisation and general ecommerce operations.

The Role

This is a hands-on role focused on ecommerce trading, site merchandising, and customer experience. You will be responsible for maintaining the website, ensuring stock accuracy, supporting weekly trading updates, and delivering a seamless customer journey. The role also involves supporting ecommerce shoots and ensuring smooth coordination between teams.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Operations & Trading
